Duties
- Advise clients on trademark protection and perform clearance searches.
- Prosecute U.S. trademark applications and manage oppositions.
- Coordinate global trademark portfolio coverage with foreign associates.
- Draft license and transactional agreements.
- Send and respond to cease and desist letters.
- Collaborate with M&A team on trademark diligence.
- Appear before U.S. federal courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
- Supervise an associate and a team of paralegals.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other practice areas.
