A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Trademark Associate to join its team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers an opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of experience to engage in a variety of brand protection matters within a dynamic practice.
Duties
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and analyze results for trademark availability.
- Handle domestic and international prosecution of trademark applications.
- Manage a large docket of trademark prosecution matters, ensuring timely responses.
- Assist with trademark enforcement, including cease and desist letters and domain name disputes.
- Support attorneys on trademark and copyright litigation matters.
- Stay informed on current trademark law and practice.
- Contribute to the growth of the firm's Brand Protection team.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- At least three years of U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
Education
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
