Trade Compliance Analyst - Export Classification : 26-02571

Pay Range: $25-$30/Hr. on W2

Job Summary

This role is responsible for reviewing and validating US export-control classifications for products. The analyst will research product information, apply export regulations to determine appropriate classifications (ECCN or EAR99), and document their findings. This position offers a chance to develop specialized expertise in product classification within a global e-commerce and logistics setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate product export-control classifications.
• Research EAR and CCL for correct ECCN and EAR99 classifications.
• Evaluate product details to support classification decisions.
• Document classification rationale and research.
• Escalate complex classifications requiring further expertise.

Must-Have Skills

• Foundational knowledge of US export controls (EAR/ITAR).
• Working knowledge of the Commerce Control List and ECCN structure.
• Understanding of EAR99 classification criteria.

Industry Experience

• Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or international trade compliance is preferred for this role, particularly involving export controls and product classification.
