The Tractor Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness and sanitation of Resource Transport tractors.

Schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation, 12-hour shifts

The Tractor Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness and sanitation of Resource Transport tractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize the tractor's cab and cargo areas.
- Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure visibility and safety.
- Vacuum and wipe down interiors to keep cabs free of dirt, dust, and debris.
- Empty and clean waste bins inside vehicles, disposing of trash properly.
- When necessary, wipe down exterior surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and methods to maintain vehicle appearance.
- Document and report any damage, stains, or issues observed during cleaning to the Service Writer.
- Keep trash and recycling areas at the Odessa Yard clean and organized.
- Be proactive in identifying supply needs to avoid running out of essential items.
- Log time and detailed records in assigned Fleetio Work Orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in cleaning and janitorial duties is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Able to perform tasks outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, and inclement weather.
- Able to wear proper PPE including but not limited to steel-toed boots, hard hat/bump cap, safety glasses, and appropriate gloves when necessary.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Be able to climb ladders, stairs and equipment
- Be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch while performing a hand task.
- Be able to pull, push, and lift 50 pounds.
- Dedication and commitment to teamwork and common goals.
- Ability to follow proper protocol for incident reporting and emergency situations.
- Strong morale character.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of clients and industry.
