Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative in Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO). This role focuses on closing sales and winning new business within a defined territory. You will attend an award‑winning training program and work with new and existing clients to sell human‑resource solutions that improve employees’ lives across the hire‑to‑retire spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy.
  • Turn prospects into loyal clients by recommending the right solutions to address real business needs and earning referral business through networking.
  • Deepen relationships across the ADP family by cross‑selling cloud‑based human‑resource solutions with other ADP associates.
  • Collaborate daily as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network.
  • Manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, document progress, and support implementation until new business is up and running.

Required Qualifications

  • Positive self‑starter with an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection.
  • Strategic closer with an established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; proven track record of closing sales and managing a territory.
  • Proven winner who thrives under pressure, motivating to hit and exceed sales quotas.
  • College degree is a plus but not required; acceptable experience includes three years of B2B sales (preferably field sales) or military experience building teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust‑building skills.

  • Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
