Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BE Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join its established and successful orthopedic practice in Falmouth and Portland, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, patient-centered team in one of New England's most desirable coastal communities. Practice Info

• Practice in Falmouth and Portland, Maine
• Work alongside 3 other accomplished orthopedic surgeons
• Benefit from the support of an experienced PA team, with PAs assigned to individual surgeons and serving as first assist in the OR
• Practice in a community-based, clinician-led setting with full access to the resources and protections of an integrated system
• Access to the ROSA robotic system to enhance surgical accuracy and outcomes

Compensation

• $800,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position
• The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.

Shift & Schedule

• 2 days in the OR and 3 days in the clinic each week, with the flexibility to increase OR time as patient demand grows
• Shared 1:4 call rotation

• J-1 waiver sponsorship with pathway to Green Card (if desired) and immigration counsel support
