To support mission-critical applications, the remote Senior AWS Engineer specializing in Graph/Cloud technologies will design and build cloud-native applications using graph databases, collaborating with AWS architects and customer stakeholders to create scalable solutions. Key responsibilities Design and build applications backed by graph databases (Amazon Neptune, Neo4j, JanusGraph) for relationship-rich mission data Model complex entities and relationships, tuning graph schemas and indexes for optimal query performance Develop and integrate APIs and microservices that expose graph-backed data to consumers Required qualifications U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance or in the process of obtaining one Five (5) or more years of professional software engineering experience Demonstrated experience developing applications on graph databases (Neptune, Neo4j, or comparable) Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
