Toolmaker And CNC Programmer PositionHamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a toolmaker and CNC programmer position at a manufacturing company in Bethel CT. This is a direct-hire opportunity. The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The salary is $85,000-$100,000 a year, based on experience.Job Responsibilities:Program, set up and troubleshoot Hass and Fryer CNC machinesPrepare tool and offset lists for CNC programsDesign, build, troubleshoot, sharpen and repair dies for press machinesMaintain equipment in toolroom, CNC and press roomMaintain inventory and documentation for toolroom, CNC department and press roomTrain and help oversee employees in toolroom and CNC departmentOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:At least 10 years of toolmaking experienceAt least 10 years of CNC programming and operating experienceMastercam experience requiredExperience with Hass and Fryer CNC machines strongly preferredLeadership experience strongly preferredComfortable working a small shop setting and willing to help in other areas when neededAble to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for long periodsAble to pass pre-employment screenings
