Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $29.00/hr
Shifts Available: 1st shift
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ 08054
What You'll Be Doing
We're hiring immediately for Tooling Technician roles in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We're seeking a hands-on Tooling Technician to support production by ensuring molds and tooling are production-ready, well-maintained, and safely managed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, precision work, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities may include:
* Clean, maintain, inspect, and store molds and tooling
* Perform mold changeovers and configuration adjustments per production schedule
* Troubleshoot tooling issues with processing and production teams
* Repair and modify molds, jigs, fixtures, and equipment
* Operate shop equipment such as: Surface Grinder, Bridgeport Mill, Lathe, Sandblast cabinet
* Communicate with tooling vendors (local & global)
* Maintain accurate tooling records, PMs, repairs, and inventory
* Manage tooling supplies and spare components to minimize downtime
* Help develop and document tooling changeover and assembly instructions
* Train production staff on proper tooling care
* Propose continuous improvement ideas (minimum 3 per year)
* Follow and promote all safety standards
* More duties may be assigned upon hire.
What You'll Need
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience: 1+ year of tooling, molding, or manufacturing experience
* Ability to read: Blueprints and instructions
* Micrometers, calipers, and measurement tools
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
* Valid forklift license required
* Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb regularly
* Lift: Up to 25 lbs regularly, Up to 50 lbs frequently, Up to 100 lbs occasionally
* Work around moving machinery in a loud manufacturing environment

* 1st shift, 7:55am - 4:05am
* Monday - Friday
