Tooling Technician (Injection Molding)

Tooling TechnicianAdler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a motivated and committed Tooling Technician for the manufacturing operations in Oregon, OH for 1st Shift - flexibility is required.Perform daily shop inspections and preventive maintenanceExposure to metal fabrication, welding (Stick, MIG and TIG)Ability to weld aluminum and steelPerforms all tasks in a safe mannerComply with safety rules and company policiesSet-Up and get molds ready for each mold changeMaintain thermoplastic molds to ensure consistent quality, output and yieldComplete daily mold change sheets and other required paperworkComplete/participate in any and all PPS activities as directed by SupervisorsCommunicate effectively with production team member, Team Leaders, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure quality installation of moldsTroubleshoot issues with the moldsPerform preventive maintenance on injection mold tooling and prior to mold changesTrouble shoot any problems involved with mold changesRemove and install Hot Runner ServiceSupport Engineers with tool design reviews on new buildsAbility to determine feasibilities of engineering changes during design reviewMust have own toolsSalary and Benefits: Adler Pelzer offers a competitive pay and benefits package as well as the opportunity to grow one's career.Salary range for this position is up to $43.50/hour.
