Tooling Manager Responsibilities
- Lead daily tooling team activities, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for tooling processes and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate on-time, within-budget tooling launches.
- Optimize tooling workflows by standardizing procedures and enhancing capacity.
- Manage resources and proactively respond to demand changes and supply chain issues.
Tooling Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, high-speed machining, and quality standards preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and vendor management skills.
