Main responsibilities
* Ensure production has the necessary tooling available to sustain manufacturing demand and deliver products on time.
* Manage tooling inventory to maintain optimal stock levels — avoiding both shortages and excess inventory.
* Set up and prepare cutting tools for machining operations to prevent production interruptions.
* Analyze tool breakage and performance issues; recommend repair, modification, or redesign solutions.
* Manage tooling costs by negotiating pricing and maintaining competitive sourcing among suppliers.
* Coordinate and oversee repair of cutting tools with external suppliers; maintain accurate tracking of tools sent for repair.
* Maintain an organized and up-to-date tooling inventory management system.
* Evaluate cutting tool materials and propose improvements to enhance performance and longevity.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling efficiency, cost reduction, and machining performance.

* To keep abreast of the requirements related to its activity of quality safety and environment (QSE).
* Observe the QSE which are in the form of sheets of instructions.
* Back the information to his N + 1 in case of malfunction or difference noted
* Maintain compliance and clean updated equipment at its disposal
* Manage documents relating to its service quality
* Alert anyone if its activity does not respect the QSE instructions.
* Participate actively in the continuing improvement in QSE.
* Ensure communication clear and precise of all requirements of the customer within the company.
Qualifications
* Engineering degree or equivalent experience in tooling or machining.
* Strong knowledge of cutting tools, including design, repair, and application.
* Hands-on experience as a cutting tool maker or equivalent role.
* Strong knowledge of machining aluminum components.
* Experience with Zoller system or equivalent tool measurement system.
* Knowledge of tool setup and preparation for machining holders.
* Strong understanding of tooling management systems, inventory control, and budgeting.
* Experience working with cutting tool manufacturers and suppliers.
* Proficient in CAD modeling software or equivalent.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
* Proficient in computer systems and software (Excel, ERP systems).
