Summary:As a Tooling Design Engineer you will focus on designing, improving, and supporting tooling used in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production, the toolroom, and front office teams to ensure tools meet customer needs, quality expectations, and timelines. This position balances new tool design with maintenance and troubleshooting of existing tools.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 5am-3pm with flexibility in hours as long as they are consistent

Responsibilities:Create and review two-dimensional and three-dimensional tooling designs based on customer requirements
Support tooling repairs and improvements in collaboration with toolroom staff
Communicate tooling issues that may impact production schedules or part quality
Provide design input aimed at improving efficiency and controlling cost
Assist with quality system requirements and workplace organization efforts
Meet customer deadlines and escalate concerns when barriers arise
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Perform additional duties to support tooling and production needs
Qualifications:Progressive Tool stamping background is necessary
Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD or DraftSight
Background in tooling, manufacturing, or related design work
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Comfort working in a production environment
Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
