TOOL ROOM SUPERVISORDirects and coordinates tool room activities to ensure proper repair, modification, and reliability of molds supporting injection molding operations.Direct daily tool room operations and workflowSupervise, train, and mentor tool room personnelPlan, assign, and prioritize mold repairs and modificationsEnsure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are metCoordinate with management and production to support schedules and demandMaintain accountability for tooling costs, methods, and resultsPerform hands-on toolmaking work as requiredComplete additional related duties as assignedRepair and modify molds, jigs, and fixtures requiring tight tolerancesAnalyze and implement mold changes to meet production and quality requirementsPlan repair procedures and select appropriate materialsDevelop shrinkage and temperature allowances for proper mold functionAssist with mold setup and troubleshooting in productionManufacturing environment with moderate noise and exposure to oils, dust, and fumesAbility to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPerform repetitive movements including bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and fine motor workUse of required PPEHigh school diploma or equivalent; industry certification preferred5+ years of mold repair and modification experience in injection moldingPrior supervisory or lead experience preferredStrong precision grinding and mold repair skillsExperience with EDM, jig grinding, or similar processesCAD proficiency; SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD preferred
