Tool Install Project ManagerOrganization: Semiconductor Manufacturing Expansion & Factory OperationsReports To: Senior Manager, Facilities – Tool InstallLocation: Beaverton, Oregon (primary) | Support Camas, WashingtonTravel: ~10%Level: Individual Contributor (Construction / Capital Projects)Position SummaryAs a Tool Install Project Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of advanced semiconductor equipment installations that enable factory expansion, technology node transitions, and capacity growth.This role is critical to delivering multimillion-dollar capital projects that directly impact manufacturing output, product ramp schedules, and long-term business success.You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and external contractors to safely deliver world-class manufacturing capability—ensuring excellence in safety, quality, cost, schedule, and operational readiness.What You'll DoEnd-to-End Project LeadershipLead semiconductor tool installation projects from concept through production handoffManage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources across the full lifecycleDevelop and maintain integrated schedules, critical path analyses, and forecastsMonitor project performance, spend, and risk to ensure successful deliveryTool Installation & Factory ReadinessOversee installation of advanced semiconductor equipment (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, metrology, implant, wet processing, packaging, sub-fab systems)Ensure cleanroom and bay readiness, utilities availability, and successful system hook-upCoordinate installation sequencing and resource planning across multiple concurrent projectsCross-Functional & Contractor LeadershipPartner with construction, facilities, manufacturing, process and equipment engineering teams, and vendorsLead contractor selection, bid evaluations, and contract executionManage contractor performance, productivity, and complianceSafety & Risk ManagementChampion a zero-incident safety culture across all activitiesEnsure compliance with safety protocols including LOTO, chemical safety, high-voltage work, and riggingIdentify and mitigate risks related to supply chain, construction delays, utilities, and design changesOperational Impact & Continuous ImprovementSupport factory startups, expansions, and technology conversionsEnable production continuity, ramp schedules, and capacity targetsCapture lessons learned and drive best-known methods (BKMs) across sitesManage multiple concurrent capital projects, often in the multimillion-dollar rangeMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities, tool installation, or capital project managementProven experience managing scope, schedule, cost, contractors, and cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with semiconductor cleanroom environments and manufacturing equipmentStrong knowledge of project controls, risk management, and tools such as Microsoft ProjectPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or BusinessPMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certificationExperience in wafer fabrication facilities and tool install managementGreenfield fab startup or large-scale expansion experienceTrack record leading capital projects exceeding $10MExposure to advanced semiconductor process technologies or global project leadershipAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
