Tool Engineer

Job Duties:

• Designing dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, harness boards, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling for production or experimental purposes.
• Accounting for various factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, economy, mobility, and performance requirements while developing solutions.
• Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 6 years of experience with 3D modeling software, such as CREO.
• 6 years of experience with CAD/CAM systems (Creo) & PLM system (Windchill)
• 6 years of experience with Harness Board design
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in managing projects, schedules, and resources.
• Knowledge of robotics and automation systems.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
