We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and growth-focused workplace that makes Eberhard a top global employer of choice.Responsibilities:Assembles / disassembles, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains tooling and dies through a variety of standard methodologyPerforms complex machining to turn raw materials into finished dies and fixturesPerforms preventive maintenance to ensure dies are as production ready as possibleMaintains logs and appropriate records on die maintenanceReads/studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, and/or descriptions to determine materials and machines needed to fabricate partsParticipates in tool design and prototype productionComputes dimensions, plans layout, and determines methods for sequence of operationsMeasures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machiningVerifies dimensions, alignments, and clearancesIdentifies a reasonable amount of time to complete a job and communicates problems and estimated repair timesUtilizes and abides by ISO requirementsMakes recommendations to continuously improve tooling and fixturesOther duties as assignedMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Operate Tool Room equipmentRead and understand blueprintsHeat-treating proceduresAble to make basic detail prints of die sectionsMust be able to work on multiple jobs at one timeExcellent problem-solving skillsMathematical ability to perform basic math computations such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportionsHigh school diploma or GED requiredJourneyman's card or equivalent a plusComputer skills, crane, and tow motor experience are a plusEmployment with Eberhard Manufacturing is "at-will", meaning that either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, in accordance with Ohio law.Eberhard Manufacturing Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
