As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the design, fabrication, and maintenance of essential tooling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Archdale, NCPay Range: $29/hr with an increase at hiringShift: 1st shift, 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
Overtime on FridaysWhat's the Job?Fabricate and repair stamp tooling, including punches, dies, and assemblies.Collaborate with production teams to ensure parts meet dimension tolerances and quality standards.Troubleshoot and optimize designs by working with Engineering and Production teams to resolve die-related issues and improve design for manufacturability.Participate in new tooling try-outs or engineering changes to ensure safety and process accuracy.Perform preventative maintenance on tooling to increase lifespan and produce high-accuracy components and sub-assemblies.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC operation is highly preferred.Previous tool and die experience.Knowledge of stamping tools, both progressive and transfer, as well as basic press and feeder knowledge.Good machining skills including setup and ability to machine components to specified dimensions.CAD/CAM/3D experience required.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Engage in meaningful projects that enhance your technical skills.Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to quality and safety.Potential for career growth within the organization.Competitive hourly pay with an increase at hire.Upon completion of waiting period, associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
