Tolling Market Lead
The Tolling Market Lead will partner with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies across the globe, and champion the identification and development of projects and programs within HDR’s transportation business group. This role is responsible for enhancing and expanding HDR’s suite of toll industry services.
Services & Responsibilities
- AET conversions for existing facilities
- Planning and Design services for systems including technology, payment methods, and advisory services
- Mobility and operational technology services including ATST, ITS, CAV, tolling system development and operations, managed lanes, ZEM and OT cybersecurity
- Advisory services including asset management, ROW, value engineering, funding and finance
- Research and share knowledge of trends and drivers within the tolling market
- Support the identification, pursuit, and delivery of tolling opportunities where HDR can compete
- Develop client relationships across local area and market sector teams
- Collaborate with TBG region directors in prioritizing investments to capture tolling client opportunities
- Support local areas in participation of industry organizations and lead strategy for presence and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- PE (preferred)
- Recognized leader in the Toll Roads/Toll Facilities space
- Proven ability to set and execute strategy for growth of a practice, ideally in the Tolling market
- Established relationships with major toll clients/DOTs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, planning or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience
- Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for architecture, engineering, and/or planning services
- Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits
- Experience in overall staff development, including recruiting, career path and professional growth
- Experience with industry associations and maintaining a visible profile in the market sector
- Ability to work cooperatively with various directors, managers and business group leaders across regions

Compensation
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. For full‑time regular positions, sample ranges include: California: $195,135‑$324,007; Colorado: $159,656‑$264,006; Connecticut: $195,135‑$264,006; Hawaii: $186,265‑$252,052; Illinois: $177,395‑$264,006; Maryland: $186,265‑$252,052; Minnesota: $159,656‑$252,005; Montana: $159,656‑$216,005; New Jersey: $204,004‑$300,006; Nevada: $177,395‑$240,005; New York: $177,395‑$300,006; Ohio: $177,395‑$240,005; Rhode Island: $186,265‑$252,052; District of Columbia: $212,874‑$288,006; Washington: $168,525‑$288,006.
