Title I Instructional Assistant
Purpose: To provide supplemental intervention support to students in literacy and math.
Supervisor: Title I Project Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or other appropriate instructional area
- NH Certification in Elementary Education or other appropriate instructional area

Essential Functions:
- Understand and follow the requirements of Title I
- Provide prescribed interventions to students with an identified need in literacy or math:
- In a small-group setting outside of the classroom
- One-on-one outside of the classroom
- In a small-group setting within the classroom
- One-on-one within the classroom
- Serve as a liaison between the Title I program and the school community
- Support the Title I Program Director with family outreach and participation
- Complete required and/or relevant training as directed by the District
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working Environment:
- The usual methods of performing the job of Title I Instructional Assistant may require the following physical demands:
- Minimal amount(s) of: lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling
- Moderate amount(s) of: fine finger dexterity, repetitive motion(s), walking, bending/squatting
- Significant amount(s) of: mental attention/focus, speaking, listening
