We're looking for someone who is customer service oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment.What You'll DoReviewing and verifying all necessary documents for real estate transactionsEnsuring compliance with state and federal regulations during the closing processPreparing closing statements and transaction documentsCoordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneysIdentifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in the titleConducting title searches to confirm ownership and identify any liens or claimsOverseeing the signing of documents and funds disbursementRecording closing documents with relevant government agenciesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date files and recordsExplaining closing procedures to clients and addressing their questionsEnsuring all transaction parties meet their obligations before closingScheduling and handling the logistics of the closing meetingHandling post-closing follow-ups and necessary correctionsWhat We're Looking ForLicensed Florida title agentAssociates' degree and/or minimum of three years experience as title closerLicensed Florida NotaryActive relationships with real estate agentsFamiliarity with real estate and title software systems; Qualia a plus!Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of state and federal real estate laws and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficientlyAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to perform under pressure and meet deadlinesReliable and ethical, with strong integrityCustomer service orientationAbility to interpret and explain complex legal documentsCompensationSalary range depending on experience: $26 - $35 per hour.
