If you're an automotive technician looking for a change, apply today!Pay starting at $24/hourResponsibilitiesResponsible for effective replacement of forklift wheels/tires in the fieldPlan methods and sequence of performing repairs assignedPre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairsEffect the repairs in a safe and effective mannerEnsure all repairs complete as assigned and the cosmetic appearance are up to standardsMaintain the work area in a clean and safe conditionMaintain shop tools, equipment and vehiclesMaintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition. Wear all personal protective equipment, as required; and urges others to do so.QualificationsStrong potential to develop good mechanical skills, good communication skills, and safe work habitsBe able to work independent of direct supervision in a field environmentContribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service techniciansA technical school or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred, but not requiredValid driver's license; clean MVRMust be 21 years of age.Physical RequirementsDexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment and facilitate repairs.Continuously lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds.Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects.
