Details for Tile Installation Technician position:
- $ 24-25 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

- Prepare and repair surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and fixing subfloors or walls
- Read blueprints and layout plans to determine measurements, tile patterns, and material needs
- Measure and cut tile accurately with wet saws, cutters, and hand tools
- Apply mortar, mastic, or adhesive evenly with the proper tools
- Install and align ceramic, porcelain, stone, and marble tile on floors, walls, showers, and backsplashes
- Grout joints, remove excess material, and apply sealants for moisture protection
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and in line with company safety standards
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred but not required
- No experience required
- Proficiency with trade tools including wet saws, cutters, trowels, spacers, and levels
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
