Evaluates the applicability of proposed solutions to the project's technical requirements. Understands the source and target data models. Documents the technical design of the solution. Works on iterative development cycle to get to target solution, verifying early and often that correct results are being generated. Assist with the necessary views and is responsible for portions of the solutions including queries, stored procedures, scripts etc. necessary for the project. Ensures performance is optimal—validates query plans, modifies design as appropriate, etc. Performs a detailed evaluation of the proposed design and helps debug and test. Ensures results are accurate and meet requirements Provides support for installations, backups and restores.
