Job TitleThread Roll MachinistJob DescriptionAvailable Shifts:1st Shift (4AM-230PM)2nd Shift (230PM-1AM)Saturday OT may be requiredSalary Range: $26.00-$36.00 dependent on individual knowledge, skill level, and demonstrated experienceKey Responsibilities:Performs set-up operation process for thread roll machineryUtilizes drawings, work orders, and blueprints to produce quality partsPerforms regular in process inspections, utilizing precision measurement equipment as needed (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.)Upholds site safety standards and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment malfunctionsCompletes required production logs and other related documentation with accuracyCommunicate urgent needs related to tooling and troubleshootingMay be required to participate in regular department training and/or conduct training with new department employeesQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Demonstrated experience running thread roll production machinery (waterbury, reed, hartford, automatic, and hand feed)Proficient use of precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, gages, etc.)Ability to read blueprints and work ordersMust be able to read/write in EnglishPhysical Requirements:Must have the ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel for duration of shiftMust be able to work in non-temperature controlled environmentMust have the ability to work with and around heavy metal materials
