Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Third Party Liability Claims Representative will manage a portfolio of accounts related to accidents, focusing on obtaining accident details and insurance information from patients and other sources while ensuring timely payment from insurance carriers. Key responsibilities Maintain a queue of Third Party Liability accounts and work an average of 60 unique accounts per day Contact hospital patients to gather necessary accident details and insurance information, providing support throughout the process Submit hospital bills to insurance companies and maintain communication with insurance adjusters and personal injury attorneys during claims adjudication Required qualifications Minimum one-year experience working with hospital revenue cycle processes preferred Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing collection practices, including HIPAA and FDCPA Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong commitment to customer service with high levels of empathy and understanding Dependable individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
