- Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from healthcare conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
- Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist including but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- This position will support both the downtown and Rio Rancho clinics.
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience.
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician.
