Shift: Day or night shift, based on operational needs.
Hours per Shift: 3 or 4 shifts per week. On-call responsibilities.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in respiratory care at a general/acute hospital.
License: Must maintain a current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any U.S. state or territory.
Certifications: Must maintain current valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
Must-Have:
Must have an Associate’s degree in respiratory care or equivalent education.Must have and maintain a current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Description:The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is trained in the technical aspects of respiratory care.The RCP will deliver modalities of respiratory therapy, emergency and intensive respiratory care, and diagnostic procedures.Work hours include 24-hour coverage rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.The facility currently has a low COVID census.Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to starting.COVID and flu exemptions may be accepted after submitting a declination form.Housing applications must be submitted two weeks prior to starting.
