Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The therapist will work alternating shifts of three or four nights per week from 18:00 to 06:30. This position requires one year of experience in a similar role. The candidate must hold certifications in BLS and RRT; CRT will not be accepted. The respiratory therapist will provide care for a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including pulmonary fibrosis, COVID, influenza, rhinovirus, cystic fibrosis, COPD, and respiratory failure. Special procedures include bronchoscopy, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy suctioning and care, and thoracentesis. The therapist will also be responsible for using specialized equipment such as Airvo, Servou, and Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilator (IPV). Candidates must be comfortable managing adult and geriatric patient populations. The daily census may vary, and the therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary support services. Candidates may be required to float to other units as needed. We welcome first-time travelers; however, experienced travelers are preferred. Local candidates will also be considered.
