Respiratory TherapistRespiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: State licensure required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT Must-Have: NICU experience is a hard requirement Description: RRT with NICU experience required to work nights. No on-call duty required. Rotation includes either every other weekend or every third weekend. First-time travelers accepted. ACLS, BLS, RRT, and state licensure are required. NRP certification is preferred. Epic experience is required. Candidates should have skills in adult critical care and emergency department procedures.

Experience with transports, direct intubation, extubation, nasal airway placement, and suctioning is necessary. Knowledge of tracheostomy care, ARDS, aspiration procedures, bronchoscopy, COVID management, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia treatment is essential. Familiarity with medication administration, aerosol masks, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, pulmonary function testing, and ventilator management is expected.

Skills in neonatal/pediatrics equipment and procedures are preferred but not required. Candidates must be prepared for working with a diverse patient population. Monitoring and managing respiratory distress, performing suctioning procedures, and assisting in high-risk deliveries may be part of the role. Travelers must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance, and fit testing will be required.
