Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing setting
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals and outcomes
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Familiarity with geriatric patient populations
- Strong documentation and communication skills
