Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
