Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

n Job Summary:n
n Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Collaborates as an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality speech therapy services.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Review patient information prior to evaluations and throughout treatment plans.n
• n Conduct and document comprehensive patient assessments to determine communication and swallowing needs.n
• n Assist in collecting data on patient outcomes to monitor progress.n
• n Instruct and supervise support staff and assistants in accordance with state and national Practice Acts.n
• n Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.n
• n Perform other related duties as assigned to support patient care objectives.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.n
• n Possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.n
• n Have at least two years of recent speech-language pathology experience preferred.n
• n Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.n
• n Be certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or have equivalent credentials.n
• n Demonstrate excellent assessment and communication skills, along with a commitment to patient-centered care.n
