Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to adult patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment. Deliver ventilator management and other respiratory treatments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators, including setting up and troubleshooting equipment.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen, Airvo, and other supplemental treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and critical changes in condition, maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold NBRC Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Possess a minimum of 6 months of current RRT experience in a critical care setting.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with ventilator management and respiratory procedures.
• Have pediatric or PICU experience and strong ICU background preferred.
