Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies based on physician orders and patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures with minimal supervision.
- Communicate and collaborate with clinical team members to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Interpret physician instructions and assess patient condition to determine appropriate interventions.
- Respond swiftly to changes in workload or patient condition, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Hold an Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
- Possess an active Kansas license or be eligible for licensure.
- Obtain NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
- Have at least 1 year of respiratory care experience (preferred), but enthusiastic new grads are considered.
- Maintain current certification and licensing requirements as mandated by state and NBRC standards.
