Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

n Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients, managing ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP, oxygen therapy, and blood gas analysis in a fast-paced clinical environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety during shifts.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Administer respiratory treatments and medications following physician directives.n
• n Monitor and operate ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP devices, and blood gas machines.n
• n Assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.n
• n Document patient care outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.n
• n Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to develop and implement care plans.n
• n Respond promptly to emergency respiratory needs and provide emergent interventions.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and VA State license.n
• n Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.n
• n Demonstrate at least 2 years of ICU or acute care respiratory therapy experience.n
• n Proven ability to manage mechanical ventilators and blood gas analysis.n
• n Adapt to a fast-paced environment and display excellent clinical judgment.n
• n Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.n
