Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

n Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Ensure optimal respiratory care through assessments, treatments, and ventilator management, adhering to hospital protocols.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Administer breathing treatments, ABGs, EKGs, and ventilator management for adult and pediatric patients.n
• n Assist with intubation procedures and respond to respiratory emergencies within the facility.n
• n Monitor and operate respiratory equipment, including Puritan Bennett 840 and Hamilton C1 ventilators, Bipap v60, and Vapotherm.n
• n Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient respiratory care plans.n
• n Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in clinical records.n
• n Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory therapies.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Valid and unexpired respiratory therapy license required.n
• n Minimum of 1 year of inpatient adult ICU or ER respiratory experience.n
• n Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NBRC-CRT or RRT preferred.n
• n Experience with vent management, ABGs, and EKGs necessary.n
• n Willingness to train on pediatric respiratory procedures preferred.n
• n Ability to assist with intubations and perform ABGs independently.n
