Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

n Job Summary:n
n The Respiratory Therapist will deliver comprehensive patient care focused on pulmonary function testing, equipment setup, and therapy management. This role involves collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal respiratory treatment and equipment support for patients.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Perform pulmonary function tests and initiate CPAP therapy for patients.n
• n Support the procurement and ongoing supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.n
• n Educate patients on the correct use of inhalers and other respiratory devices.n
• n Set up and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.n
• n Work closely with physicians to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.n
• n Assist in training staff and patients on the use of respiratory therapy equipment as needed.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold a current RRT or CRT credential from the NRBC.n
• n Possess an active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).n
• n Have at least 1 year of hospital or physician’s office experience.n
• n Demonstrate computer literacy and familiarity with respiratory care tools.n
• n Required education from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.n
• n Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.n
