Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

n Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory therapy care to adult and neonatal patients, ensuring optimal respiratory function and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver evidence-based interventions and maintain compliance with clinical standards.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Evaluate patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.n
• n Administer treatments including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and ventilator support using Hamilton C1 and other equipment.n
• n Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjusting interventions as necessary.n
• n Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system.n
• n Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and certifications.n
• n Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.n
• n Must have at least 2 years of general respiratory experience.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency with respiratory equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and MR1.n
• n Possess or be willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.n
• n Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and perform 3-12 hour shifts weekly.n
• n Strong clinical skills in NICU and adult respiratory care.n
