Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

n Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory care to adult patients in various clinical settings, including ICU, ED, medical-surgical floors, telemetry, and psychiatric units. Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality interventions through established protocols and emergency procedures.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to adult patients in critical and general care units.n
• n Monitor patient responses and adjust ventilator settings or therapy plans accordingly.n
• n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.n
• n Float to ICU, ED, or other units as needed to maintain optimal staffing and patient care.n
• n Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress.n
• n Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold an active RRT certification through NBRC or an equivalent certifying body.n
• n Possess a valid RRT license and BLS certification.n
• n Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.n
• n Experienced with EPIC electronic medical records and travel assignments.n
• n Be capable of working in diverse settings, including ER, ICU, MS, TELE, and psychiatric units.n
• n NRP certification is highly desired.n
