About This Role
This position is responsible for assessing for referral to short term individual, couple, and group therapy; conducting initial assessments, intakes, and crisis sessions, providing referrals and bridging care to the community as needed; consulting with students, faculty, and staff regarding mental health issues; and other tasks as requested by the Executive Director. Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required.
This is a 9-month (summers off) appointment.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work or a related field, and one year of relevant experience.
- Must meet state licensure requirements to practice independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year post-graduate experience in the mental health field providing individual therapy.
- Experience in a university counseling center.
