Austin Oaks Hospital offers a continuum of psychiatric services for adolescents and adults. Located in South Austin, Texas on a beautiful thirteen-acre oak lined campus, we strive to provide a home-like environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills, and personal growth. Austin Oaks Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to stabilize symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health disorders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
- Is a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
- Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Working collaboratively as a treatment team member.
Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director. Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A). Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred. Must be able to work at the following locations:
- Austin Oaks Branches San Marcos: 1330 Wonder World Dr #108, San Marcos, TX 78666
- Austin Oaks Branches Downtown: 1110 E 32nd St, Austin, TX 78722
- Austin Oaks Branches South: 1407 W Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78745

Qualifications:
- Education: Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field
- Licensure / Certification: Current State Licensure. Current CPR or BLS certification. Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date. Is deemed a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP)
- Experience: Required: At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect. Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
