JCCA is seeking Therapist to join our Preventive Services Program , offering targeted intervention to stabilize and strengthen families in crisis when their children are coping with mental illness and stress. The Social Workers will focus on the Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) model, which is an evidence-based therapeutic intervention method designed to assist families with children aged 0- 5, who have experienced at least one traumatic event, resulting in mental health, attachment and/or behavioral problems. The goal of the CPP therapeutic method is to strengthen child-parent attachment, parental empathy, and resilience in families, helping to break cycles of abuse and neglect, promoting long-term stability.

Salary Range: $32.05 -$33.34 per hour + Differential offered for NYS license and/or applicable language skills

- Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
- Conduct assessments and home visits.
- Develop and monitor Family Assessment and Service Plans (FASPs).
- Coordinate services and connect families with community resources.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, hospitals, ACS, and other community partners.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and on-call coverage as needed.
- *35-hours per week, Monday-Friday - should be flexible to work between the hours of 9am and 8pm and occasional weekends depending on client needs
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT).
- Knowledge of individual, family and group therapeutic modalities
- Knowledge of needs of, and identification of, abused and neglected children
- Strong clinical, engagement, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, culturally diverse and team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is highly preferred.
