Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

n Job Summary:n
n Provides skilled physical therapy support to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Focuses on implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and recovery through evidence-based interventions.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Administer medically necessary treatments, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.n
• n Assess patient progress regularly and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed.n
• n Document all interventions, patient responses, and progress accurately in electronic health records according to regulatory standards.n
• n Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers to support optimal recovery outcomes.n
• n Support the supervision and mentoring of students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.n
• n Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Valid and active State PTA license.n
• n Minimum of 1 year of relevant PTA experience, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.n
• n Demonstrated proficiency in documentation, clinical interventions, and patient care.n
• n Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and patients.n
• n Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.n
• n New graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered.n
