Physical Therapy Assistant
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. They support patient treatment plans through modalities and exercise, ensuring adherence to medical needs and limitations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans by performing modalities and exercises.
- Document daily notes and discharge data accurately.
- Maintain a neat and orderly departmental environment.
- Support patient care across all age groups, including infants to geriatrics.
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to monitor patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current PTA license in Oklahoma.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Recent traveler experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient rehab and PTA experience required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in physical therapy procedures and documentation.
- Ability to work independently under supervision.
