Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

n Job Summary:n
n Providing skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) delivers patient-centered rehabilitative care to assist with recovery from physical functioning disorders. The role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery.n
• n Administer a variety of treatments such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.n
• n Assess patient progress and communicate findings to supervising Physical Therapist for treatment adjustments.n
• n Document all services, treatment minutes, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records per regulatory standards.n
• n Provide education, counseling, and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress.n
• n Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality patient care.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.n
• n Possess a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.n
• n Demonstrate proficiency in administering therapeutic interventions and documenting clinical activities.n
• n Ability to work effectively under supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.n
• n Exhibit strong communication skills and professionalism in patient interactions.n
