Responsibilities
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at the restoration or improvement of function, or the prevention of disability. Writes evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries and maintains patient files. Counsels patients and/or family members regarding Rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care and prognosis. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as they apply to the profession of Occupational Therapy and adheres to same.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current NJ State License in Occupational Therapy
- BLS certification within first 3 months of hire
- For EIP employees only: a valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy and, if applicable, the insurance carrier, for those required to drive a hospital vehicle
