Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy assistant services for patients requiring therapeutic interventions. Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders to support recovery and improve functional abilities.
Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to therapy.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure proper equipment setup.
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and activity adaptations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential with current licensure or registration.
• Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient safety protocols.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Maintain CPR certification and adhere to relevant clinical guidelines.
