Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

n Job Summary:n
n Provide occupational therapy assistance to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, supporting therapeutic plans designed to enhance patient independence and functional abilities. Collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver compassionate and effective care.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists.n
• n Prepare treatment areas and gather supplies necessary for therapy sessions.n
• n Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy interventions.n
• n Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and activities to promote continued progress.n
• n Maintain cleanliness and safety of treatment environments in compliance with facility protocols.n
• n Adhere to all clinical and safety guidelines to ensure quality patient care.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Current certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).n
• n Previous experience working in a SNF or similar settings preferred.n
• n Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and patient care standards.n
• n Excellent communication and teamwork skills.n
• n Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and adapt to patient needs.n
