Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services in providing patient care. The role involves assisting licensed therapists with treatment plans and patient interventions to promote recovery and improved functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed therapists to implement patient treatment plans.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready.
- Follow facility protocols regarding patient safety and confidentiality.
- Adhere to all scheduled shifts and guidelines as directed by supervising staff.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Proven experience assisting in therapy or healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
